London: Constable, 1934. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. pp: [vi]vii-xii [2]3-400. FIRST EDITION. Red cloth covered boards, gilt lettered stamped on the spine. Very good without the dust jacket. The boards have moderate wear to the corners, spotting along the edges, and light colour loss to the spine. The top edge stain is faded and soiled. Lacks the dust jacket. A classic investigation into an infamous literary fraud.

An investigation by the author into a collection of fraudulent documents.
