London: Hurst & Blackett. Fair with no dust jacket. 1861. First Edition. Hardcover. First edition. No additional printings listed. Hard cover published by Hurst & Blackett in London in 1861. No dust jacket. Dark red embossed covers with gilt lettering and design of a buffalo on front and gilt lettering and designs on spine. Spine has darkened some, and gilt lettering has dulled some. Upper end of spine is torn on both sides, and spine has a tear in middle and fraying at bottom end. Corners are bumped and worn, and covers have some edge wear. Inside front cover has smudging in upper corner, and hinge inside the front cover is split. Hinge inside back cover is partially split. Pages have some tanning. 431 pages, 2.7 lbs. Book is in acceptable condition.; 10.3 x 7 x 1.5 inches; 431 pages .
