Collins,, 1941. 4to., First Edition, with 12 coloured plates and 13 monochrome illustrations (a number full-page) in the text; original series binding of pictorial boards, a very good, bright, clean, crisp copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter lightly age-browned and with one small closed tear at upper margin. The first title in Collins' well-known 'Britain in Pictures' series. The first edition is scarce in this condition. Carney 1.
