Dark blue cloth w crisp gold lettering on spine. Slight shelf wear at tail. Binding square and sound. Titled DJ shows faint soiling to back panel commensurate w age and handling. DJ preserved in archival cover. Volume IV Part 1 from the Oxford History of English Literature edited by Bonamy Dobree and Norman Davis.

This volume continues the history of Elizabethan drama beginning at the accession of Henry VII. It chronicles the decline of the Morality forms and the new dramatic impulses produced by the Reformation and Ranaissance.
