Illustrated with drawings by Robert Suda showing 688 marks by 205 makers. First edition. The first book published in the United States devoted exclusively to English China. The 205 makers are arranged alphabetically and present a comprehensive study of English potteries and porcelain factories from 1750 to 1870. Previous owner's name written on front free end-paper. Dust-jacket lightly chipped and lacking inch at upper spine. A clean, sound, and unmarked copy in still attractive dust-jacket. Very good in good dust-jacket. .
