About This Item

Chapel Hill, NC: The University of North Carolina Press, 1972. First American Edition . Hardcover (with Dust Jacket). Very Good. 8vo (282 pages; 3 illustrations, 5 maps, 3 genealogies). This is a very good copy of the First American edition in a price-clipped dust jacket. There is considerable edgewear and rubbing to the jacket. There is a short, closed tear on the front free endpaper; contents fine. A well researched account of the most intense phase of the Hundreds Years War and the diplomatic negotiations between England and France that eventually led to the signing of a tenuous peace treaty in 1396.
