Stout smaller format HC in original blue cloth with titles brightly in gilt to cover and spine. 1st edition printing of this Blue Guide to England. Bright, fresh and neat; prior owner name penciled at front. Trace crimping to cloth at spine ends. Profusely illustrated with folding color maps and plans. Frontis map has a short tape repair in the bottom gutter margin and a couple other with a short closed tear same location. Generally quite fresh and neat. VG++ .
