About This Item

Van Nostrand:, 1964. 205 pages. "The material in this volume is intended to provide those concepts and technique that are essential to the attainment of engineering solutions to reliability problems. The development of this material began in 1950, as a direct result of an investigation into the high incidence of failures in the guided missile program. Originally, probabilistic concepts of reliability were paramount in the investigation, but, after additional study, these concepts were deemed insifficient for solving the problem of securing reliability operations, and accordingly, a study of functional reliability was instituted. An early draft of the resultant material was prepared in 1957; the current volume is a revision and expansion of that draft." FINE- HARDCOVER, black cloth covers, lettering is bright on the spine.. Hard Cover. Fine-/No Dust Jacket Present.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
