The end of the war finds Guy Crouchback once again in England, desperately unhappy sitting behind a desk. But then his training as a commando and his facilitywith Italian land him one last assignment, liaison work. Not in Italy, but with Tito's forces in Yugoslavia. A truly unique flavor, wit and piety chase each other in this tale of Captain Guy Crouchback's experiences. The first two books of the trilogy were Men at Arms and Officers and Gentlemen.
