British Museum Press. Very Good. 493pp. (blue spine) 4to. large. 1997. First edition. A Near fine copy in lovely fresh, tight, clean condition in very good jacket. No inscriptions. Original publisher's blue boards - gilt embossed to the spine. The text supported by numerous photographic reproductions in colour and b.&w. Slight bumps to the lower rear board corner, the upper front board corner and the edge of the front joint. The jacket has not been price-clipped and has a little shelf wear.
