About This Item
Cambridge: Cambridge at the University Press, 1911. Book. Very Good (Condition). Hard Covers. Eleventh Edition. Complete title is: The Encyclopedia Britannica: A Dictionary of Arts, Sciences, Literature and General Information. 28 volumes + 1 Index = 29 volumes. A very good set. The spines have been professionally reinforced and number-labelled. The green covers are lightly bowed, with light blunting to corners, and minor shelfwear. The pages are slightly wrinkled, due to the especially fine gauge and type of paper used. Some of the front hinges are starting, but the bindings are still very strong and solid. Texts are clean throughout. Overall, a very nice set. Economical shipping rates available for this large and heavy set. [Our rating system: 1. Fine; 2. Near Fine; 3. Very Good; 4. Good; 5. Fair.].
