Los Angeles: Black Sparrow Press, 1974. First Trade Edition. Wraps. Good. First printing of the trade paperback edition, also issued in a limited hardcover edition. SIGNED by the author on the second front endpaper. 146 pp. A collection of poetry, prose, and prose poems spanning from the 1920s to the 1970s, by Edouard Roditi. Born in Paris, Roditi was educated in England and spent most of his life in the United States. He was known for his surrealist writing, from manifestos to poetry, as well as his many interviews with artists (UCLA Special Collections). GOOD+ condition. Minor browning and a hint of soiling to the wrappers. Light curling along the extremities. Small tear at the lower front hinge.
