Original paper wrappers, but this copy bound into neat maroon cloth hard covers, with gilt title to spine, and front wrapper/cover bound in. Slight fading to spine, label ghost near tail. Historical society bookplate with "withdrawn" stamp inside front cover; pretty donation slip tipped in verso paper wrapper. Paper cover bound in slightly askew. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. 11 illustrations/plates, and large fold-out map, with some colour, at front, in very fine nick. Very neat -- a sound and handsome, lightly used copy. iv,108[+plates]pp..
