Author says the story is based on a real-life occurrence in which a girl rescued her father from exile in Siberia. For the French editions, see Vicaire V.2, 1035, and Brunet V.2, 332.Condition of this book:Covers stained, front joint starting, clean and bright inside, overall good and sound.
