Provenance: Prof Bill Trowbridge OBE, engineer and physicist, one of founders of computational electromagnetics (plate on front pastedown). 8vo: royal (250 x 170 / 10"" x 6_""). Eliot had left instructions that his biography should never be written, Peter Ackroyd received no help or assistance from those who knew him best including Eliot's widow.
