New York: James Eastburn & Co. , 1818. First edition. Fair. 5 1/4 x 8 3/4 in. Vol 1 - vii, 425 pgs. Vol 2 -n vii, 420 pgs. Full marbled brown calf with black leather label with gilt lettering on spine. Condition of books is FAIR ; front and rear covers detached on both volumes. Edges worn, covers scuffed, spines dry and crackled, Vol 1 has slight worm damage and vertical crack down center. Bindings are both quite solid still. Text is lightly to moderately foxed throughout, heaviest foxing occurring at endpapers and titles. Edges of text block browned. Philosophy. Stacks.
