The Franciscan Padre Francisco Tembleque was responsible for the design and construction of numerous significant sixteenth-century structures in central Mexico including the aqueduct to the pueblo of Otumba, Hidalgo. Includes a final section by Angel Ma. Garibay K. on the mysterious Spanish letters and Indigenous symbols embedded in the arches of that aqueduct.188pp. Illustrations. En espanol / Spanish.
