Numerous photographs and illustrations, including some color bird plates, by Louis Agassiz Fuertes. Illustrated green cloth boards. Includes sections about reforestation, Adirondack summer business, fish hatcheries, game protection, shellfisheries, squirr3els, wild fowl of the St. Lawrence River, fishing in the Adirondacks, forestry in Europe, and more. Color fish plates by Denton include Albino Brook Trout, Channel Cat, Red Horse, Crappie, Goldfish, Carp, Blue-Gill, Moon-Eye, and Rock Bass. Includes large color folding map of Townships, 5, 6, 40 and 41 in Hamilton County. Map has seven inch closed tear. ; 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall; 456 pages .
