Boston: The Prince Society, 1898-1899. "Including his Letters and Official Papers From the New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies in America, With Other Documents Relating Chiefly to the Vacating of the Royal Charter of the Colony of Massachusetts Bay, 1676-1703. In five volumes." In 1678 Randolph was appointed collector and surveyor of the customs for New England, but opposition to his authority caused him to return to England seeking revocation of the Massachusetts charter. The charter was declared forfeit and he returned to New England in 1791. Five volumes, mostly unopened. Prince Society marbled boards have been rebacked in cloth with gold spine lettering. .
