Oblong hardcover with dustjacket, book looks new, no remarkable flaws, jacket has moderate edge-wear along the top and is otherwise clean and attractive, the original price (10.00) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, Lear is known mainly for his Nonsense Books but landscape drawing and painting were his lifelong profession - the nonsense a side line, illustrated with a frontipiece in color and 110 monochrome plates .
