Charles H. Traub is chair of the graduate MFA program in photography, video, and related media at the School of Visual Arts. Former director of the Light Gallery in New York, he is president of the Aaron Siskind Foundation. He has written and edited many books, including Beach, Italy Observed , and In the Still Life . His work has been exhibited across the country and published in top magazines. He lives in New York City. Steven Heller is a leading authority on design education and the editor of the Education Of series. The art director of the New York Times Book Review , he is also the chair of the graduate design program at the School of Visual Arts and the writer or editor of more than eighty books on graphic design. He lives in New York City.
