About This Item
Very fragile silk painting depicting a coastal scene in color with what appears to be Mt. Fuji in the background, and the body of water they are near is most likely Lake Biwa. Light spotting to edges; tears to silk and detached piece at top left (see image). Original white paint to waves and top of Mt. Fuji color-shifted to light brown as is natural with its age. 11 3/4 x 9 inches.
