Acknowledgments and Introduction. Author was a scientist employed at the Plant Research Institute at the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa. Most of the book is devoted to ' Key to genera of mushrooms. Introductory part of the book discusses: parts, collecting, food value, mushroom poisoning, identification and nomenclature. 286 pp. plus: Abbreviations of Names of Authors, Glossary, Index. Book is square and tight in binding, extremities are scuffed, some age toning. Book is illustrated with mostly b/w plates, but some are in color as is the frontispiece.
