First American edition of this send-up of the the 1960s film business, with cloak-and-dagger intrigue and over-the-top attempts on the life of the highly charismatic and hysterically popular leading man, who suffers from satyriasis and has never been able to remain faithful to any one woman for more than seventeen hours. Black cloth, patterned gold foil pages after and before the free endpapers, 307 pages, illustrated dustjacket. Light shelfwear, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some minor edgewear, a couple of minor transparent spots to the front panel, no chips or tears.. First US Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
