Dark green gilt-lettered cloth, no obvious faults bar a small patch of very slight pigment loss by lower back spine of little consequence. Vol.1: xvi+556; have erased some fairly extensive but very light pencil marginalia and underling up tp p.29, after which it seems to stop, may have missed some, especially underlining, but this easily dealt with, sl. protrusion of 2 leaves pp1-4 due to re-fixing having become disbound, this of little consequence and remainder of text-block pristine. Vol.2: xvi + 528, marred by fairly extensive light pencil marginalia and underlining up to c. p.400, easily eraseable if labrious to do so! 1st eds. were 1995 & 1996, this 2nd reprint. Scarce. 16 cm x 23.5 cm
