Hardcover binding with minor darkening to spine, and minor shelfwear and soiling. No dustjacket. Page edges are lightly and evenly browned. A small spot of staining on closed page edges. From the library of Theodore W. Schultz (1902-1998), winner of the 1979 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences jointly with W. A. Lewis. Signed in ink on the front endpaper "T. W. Schultz." Schultz has added a few pencil markings scattered throughout the text..
