Encuadernación de la época en media piel con hierros dorados y tela, estampación en dorado en el plano superior del anagrama de la "Compañia Trasatlántica". Ligeramente rozada. Edición original y rara de este conjunto de conferencias dadas en Méjico por el autor a raiz de estar en la comisión oficial para la reforma monetaria de aquel país y los medios de fomentar sus relaciones comerciales con España. Ramón Péres Requeijo era en esa época director de la escuela superior de comercio de Santander, y ex-director del Banco Castellano de Valladolid.
