Lake and Forest Series. Author was known as an author and publisher of several books on northern Maine. "A story founded on fact." - title page. Hinges cracked. Map of the Richardson Lakes after p. 122 is nearly separated by a gutter tear (not repaired). No writing except previous owner's name. Nine South-End boys from 15 to 18 are planning a two-months' trip. Their first goal is to purchase some rowboats and begin practice in handling them.
