About This Item
Caldwell, Idaho: The Claxton Printers, Ltd., 1968. Book. Good. Paperback. Reprint. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 225 pages. "When the war in Europe ended, millions of Russian men, women and children sought sanctuary and freedom in the west. They met terror face-to-face. They were physically beaten into submission, and then shipped like cattle back to the U.S.S.R. to face Stalin's executioners or to serve long sentences in concentration camps... The author claims that this brutal appeasement... was initiated and carried out by the Allied Supreme Commander, General Dwight Eisenhower. From Survivors the author obtained the details of the Cossacks' fight for freedom from 1941 to 1945, and from them he learned the method used by the British to betray them." - from inside front cover. Original price blacked out inside front cover else clean and unmarked. Moderate wear. Solid copy..
