Williams, Gluyas. in 263 pages, with glossy frontispiece & line drawings throughout by his longtime illustrator Gluyas Williams. A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from Aug. 1927, this hardcover 8vo has green cloth-covered boards with a stamped design & lettering in darker green & yellow to front & spine. Condition is VG+: very clean & bright, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white with moderate tanning to edges, commensurate with age. Gift inscription in black ink dated 1927 to ffep, with comic Ex-Libris bookplate (blank) stamped to inside front board. Slight rubbing to extremities, heavier at corners & ends of spine, with slight fraying. Outside page edges show mottling. No DJ.
