Published by Oxford University Press, London, 1934, 1st editions. Blue cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine and front cover, under white dustwrapper with blue lettering. 9.25ins x 6.25ins. Volume one: xxv, (i), 414pp plus frontis and 68pp plates. Also one illustration within the text. Volume two: viii, 558pp plus frontis and 68pp plates (2 double page, 1 folding). Both volumes have previous owners name and address to top of front free endpapers. The dws of each volume are browned to the spines and are chipped to the top of the spines, otherwise VG / VG. Nb weight pre-packing 2.4k, please contact seller for accurate postal quote.
