Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1979 reprint of Heyerdahl's work in which he explores the role of deep-sea navigation in the spread of culture throughout the ancient world. No underlining or bookplates. A scribble (perhaps a former owner's signature) appears on the front endpaper. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Dust jacket is not price-clipped but does have some small tears along the top and bottom of the spine. Wear extends approximately 1-1/2" into upper edge of the front cover. This collectible, very good, reprint copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover.
