London: Cambridge University Press, 1954 663pp. Former owner bookplate on inside front board. Top edge is dust stained. Spine is shaken. Tips and spine ends are lightly rubbed. Spine ends are bumped. Tips of front flap fold are clipped. Spine and flap folds are heavily sunned. Top edge has light chipping and very small pieces missing. Spine head has a 1/2" tear at the front panel. Inside spine panel and flap folds have darkened. Rear panel has a damp stain near the spine panel. Front panel has a light damp stain near the spine panel. Text is clean and unmarked. . Reissue. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/Good Minus Jacket.
