London: George Bell and Sons. VG+. 1889. Hardcover. Edgewear to both volumes, especially at corners, spine head and foot; with small nicks, rubbing at hinges. Small strip of light sunfading along top edge of Volume 2 ; Three-quarter black leather with marbled decoration front and back. Gilt decorations and titles on spine. Titles are bright, though the raised bands are worn. Interior is clean, and binding is tight in both volumes. Verso of front free marbled endpaper is printed "Bound by Stikeman for Brentanos" in small type along bottom edge; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 2 vols. p. .
