Octavo (19.5cm.); publisher's cloth in blue pictorial dust jacket, yellow English Book Society belly-band present, blue topstain; [8],309pp. Faint shallow dampstain along bottom edge of jacket verso slightly affecting cloth, though not perceptible to jacket's exterior, some general chipping to extremities including at spine crown touching text without loss of meaning, belly-band a bit discolored, else a Very Good and sound copy. Provincial English novel set in an all-boys' school. The author's only book, published a year before her death at the age of 24.
