Hardback, 1925, first edition, published by The University of Chicago Press, Chicago, 249 pages + x.
Measures around 9" by 6" by 7/8". No dust jacket. Black cloth binding, gilt lettering and crest to spine. A little marking and some scuffing to binding but quite clean. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges. Binding quite firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and marked (more so on upper edge). Page surfaces clean, no underlining, marginalia, inscriptions, etc. See pictures for further information.
