Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1924. Book. Illus. by ten full page portraits, and illustrations including two page battle plan of Charleston Island at Boston, 17 June 1775. Very Good. Hardcover. Limited Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Original red cloth with slight edge wear along the bottom and at the top of the spine. As new inside, with fine illustrations and high quality paper with deckle edges. This is an odd volume, an imaginary dinner in London in 1778, with historically accurate conversation by those present , including James Boswell, about the events in Boston, where Governor Percy was doing his best against the American "Provincials". Hugh Percy was Duke of Northumberland (1742- 1817). Number 440 of the limited edition of only 550..
