London: Benn, 1967. Revised Edition. Hardcover. Near fine cloth copy in a good if somewhat edge-torn (with some loss) and dust-dulled dust wrapper, now mylar-sleeved. Remains particularly well-preserved; tight, bright, clean and strong. Signed by Seaver and with two letters to Seaver loosely inserted. From George Seaver�s own library through the Zozimus (Wyse Jackson) sale 2021. Geroge Seaver was an English biographer and polar enthusiast. In 1946, Seaver was appointed bishop's vicar of Kilkenny Cathedral in Ireland, but even after his retirement his interest in polar affairs and writing biographies remained until his death in 1976.
