London: Macmillan and Co., Limited. First Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Complete set of three first edition volumes. Part First dated 1904; 1st edition, 2nd issue of 1000 copies. Part Second dated 1906; 1st edition, second state of 1500. Part Third dated 1908; 1st edition, 1st impression of 1500. In both First and Second Parts, [a]3 is a cancel, as called for. Uniformly bound in publisher's olive-green cloth blocked in gold with TH monogram medallion to upper board, and titling in gold to spine. Deckle edges. Single leaf of publisher's ads to Parts First and Second. Good copies in original cloth with light wear, faded spines, and a few bumped corners. Age-toning, spotting and dust soiling to page edges and onto top margins in some places. Spotting to eps and prelims and occasional minor spotting to contents. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Heavy/oversize set. U.K. postage at default charge but overseas buyers may be asked for extra. Enquiries welcome. All orders professionally packed, tracked and/or signed for, and insured.
