Chicago: The Goodheart-Wilcox Co., 1935. Very good. Prospectus, n. d. (1935); 9 1/4 x 6 3/4; pp. [4]; printed in silver and black, illustrated with photographs and drawings; old, vertical crease through middle; two tiny, closed cuts to bottom edge; in very good condition. Also, a small leaflet with additional information tipped-in.A handsome advertisement for the 17th edition of the encyclopedia, it described the advantages of owning the book and the new subjects added to it. Originally published in 1916, it was written by Andrew Lee Dyke, owner of the Dyke Automobile Company - the first American auto parts business - which he had founded in 1899 in St. Louis.
