One of 200 copies (of a total edition of 700) printed on handmade paper and with an original etching (The Lion and the Unicorn) as frontispiece. The etching is signed by Cameron. This copy is number 79. Slight shelfwear to cloth; minor age-darkening to vellum. Internally, bright and clean. Very Good. (Subject: Art).

Glasgow: James Maclehose & Sons, 1912. Undetermined. good to very good. no. 404 of 700. [xlix],259pp. Quarto. Original brown cloth, boards slightly soiled. Spine title in gilt; some age toning to spine, crown and foot show some shelf wear, small chip to foot, small tear to outer joint. Corners lightly bumped, upper text edge gilt. Hinge cracked at front paste down, armorial bookplate to front. Some offsetting from plates, but not intrusive. good to very good Catalogue raisonne. Rare numbered copy; only 700 printed in total (including American copies). D.Y. Cameron began his career as a merchant and studied etching at the Glasgow Art School in the evenings. By 1885, he was able to focus only his art and became one of Scotland's pre-eminent engravers. 1912
