London: A. Baldwin, 1701. Disbound. Good binding. Small quarto. [4], 59, [1] pp. Second edition. Removed from volume. Inner margin of title page with small closed tears; first and last page with minor staining; occasional foxing.

The War of Spanish Succession (1701-1714) was of great concern to Britain for if the Duke of Anjou ascended to the throne of Spain, the balance of power on the Contient and in European colonization worldwide woudl shift to the House of Bourbon. This treatise its preceding Part I are attributed to Daniel Defoe (cf. Bastian, Defoe's Early Life, p. 312). This is one of four editions of this second part, all of which were printed in 1701. ESTC T035011; Goldsmiths' Kress 3775.
