About This Item
SIGNED/Inscribed in year of publication "with love" by the author on the front flyleaf, Lingeman's comprehensive dictionary of licit and illicit drugs includes comprehensive definitions of drugs "A." to "Zonked," as well as entries for slang terms and prison slang for drugs, users, and addicts. A "creep," for example, is "an addict who, because of fear, incompetence, or isolation, does not engage in risky criminal behavior to raise money for drugs, but rather begs them, does errands or lends out a hypodermic needle in exchange for a TASTE of someone else's drugs." A Fine, square, still tight copy, in a Near-Fine jacket with moderate edgewear and rubbing. Very scarce in ORIGINAL jacket. No other writings or markings of any kind except for Lingeman's beautiful inscription. Book #C3108. $198. We specialize in Rare Ayn Rand, history, and science.
