About This Item

London: William Heinemann, 1928. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good+. Light grey paper over boards, backed in gilt-lettered red cloth; dust jacket. With color frontispiece. Some light rubbing and bumping along spine and edges of boards. Dust jacket a little wrinkled along the edges, with tiny chips at head of spine extening onto top edge. A nice copy, with bookseller's ticket on front paste-down. First separate edition, originally published in "A Variety of Things," the tenth volume in a set of Beerbohm's works.
