Tasha Tudor (1915 - 2008) was a much beloved and honored American illustrator and writer of many children's books--a number of them award winners! For instance, she received Caldecott Honors for Mother Goose in 1945 and 1 is One in 1957. Her writing and pictures are often bordered by intricate details such as flowers, birds or other charming objects and animals. DRAWN FROM NEW ENGLAND embraces Tasha's life via many intimate mainly B&W photographs. EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION! Tight, clean, bright in comparable sharp dust jacket!
