First edition, one of 125 copies signed by the artist; folio (36.5 x 27 cm); signed and numbered to half title verso, 134 photogravure plates; publishers red morocco backed cloth, original dust-jacket and blue slipcase, top edge gilt, dust-jacket with wear and toning to spine, the morocco slightly scuffed, internally very clean; and an original pencil study by Flint, signed in pencil and titled 'Young Gipsy', (20 x 25 cm; 8 x 10 in), tipped onto card, with wrapper slipcase.
The first edition of Sir William Russell Flint's (1880-1969) Drawings, an illustrated catalogue of the artist's works on paper, signed and numbered by Flint, with an original signed drawing by the artist titled 'Young Gipsy'.
