About This Item
London: G. Bell & Sons Ltd [1948 - 1973]. Over 1300 fine botanical line drawings, a complete set of the 31 original parts, in eight bound volumes. There is very slight variation in the colour of the blue bindings, very slight rubbing, the spine head of the first and fourth volumes are slightly torn, the endpapers are a little age-toned, otherwise a very good clean set. A duplicate set from Cambridge Botanic Garden, but the only markings seem to be a small withdrawn stamp on each title page. [Very heavy - extra postage will be required]. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good. Illus. by Ross-Craig, Stella.
