About This Item

Little, Brown Book Group, 2005-11-01. Hardcover. Very Good. 352pp. (red spine) Folio sized. Flat signed by the author/cartoonist to the half title page in black ink. A very good, clean, tight copy in similar jacket. Original publisher's black boards - stamped in red to the spine and to the front board. The text supported by numerous photographic reproductions in colour of the artist's work. A gift inscription in light blue biro to the upper hinge corner of the title page which simply says, 'To Betty and Allan from Jean and Fred Christmas 2005'. A bump to the head of the spine with some light associated creasing to the overlying jacket. The lower two board corners - bumped - not heavily and light or slight bumps to the other two board corners - several with light associated creasing to the overlying jacket. The jacket has not been price-clipped and has some fairly uniform fading to the spine - the titles in white and black remain completely legible. A very good, flat signed copy.

The novel concerns Trevor McGee, a comic book artist and sole survivor of a family murder-suicide, and Zachary Bosch, a bisexual hacker, and their arrival at McGee's old family home in Missing Mile, North Carolina, a fictional town featured in Brite's previous novel, Lost Souls.
