Series one and two of Robert Browning's Dramatic Idyls. Robert Browning was an English poet and playwright whose dramatic monologues put him high among the Victorian poets. The first series contains the works Martin Relph, Pheidippides, Halbert and Hob, Ivan Ivanovitch, Tray and Ned Bratts. The second series contains Echetlos, Clive, Muleykeh, Pietro of Abano, Doctor - and Pan and Luna. The first series is a second edition copy published in 1882 and the second series is a first edition copy published in 1880. The second series has unopened pages. In the original cloth binding. Externally, generally lovely. Previous owner inscription to the page after the front free endpaper to both volumes. The second series has unopened pages. Internally, firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages. Very Good
