London : Smith, Elder & Co. , 1880-1882. Cloth. Very Good. 6.5" by 4.5". None. Two series of Robert Browning's Dramatic Idyls, one being a first edition. Series one and two of Robert Browning's Dramatic Idyls. Robert Browning was an English poet and playwright whose dramatic monologues put him high among the Victorian poets. The first series contains the works Martin Relph, Pheidippides, Halbert and Hob, Ivan Ivanovitch, Tray and Ned Bratts. The second series contains Echetlos, Clive, Muleykeh, Pietro of Abano, Doctor - and Pan and Luna.  The first series is a second edition copy published in 1882 and the second series is a first edition copy published in 1880. The second series has unopened pages. In the original cloth binding. Externally, generally lovely. Previous owner inscription to the page after the front free endpaper to both volumes. The second series has unopened pages. Internally, firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
