About This Item

Philadelphia, PA: George Barrie & Son. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1895. Hardcover. Very Good: all volumes show a hint of sunning to the red cloth of the backstrip; the red titles on a pastedown titles labels - which are a bit toned - are somewhat muted as well; the bottom edge of the titles label on Volume III has been torn away (no titles themselves are affected) ; mild rubbing a little faint consequent soiling to the panels of several of the volumes; Volume IV shows a small area of scuffing near the bottom edge of the rear panel; the expected light tanning to the text pages due to aging; the bindings are square and secure; the texts are clean. Many pages uncut. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the texts. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels.
